The Desktop Microphone Unit is the standard user terminal for broadcasting voice announcements, either on specific zones or areas (Selective Call), or throughout the whole building (General Call). Up to 99 microphone units can be connected to the CSE Central Unit. Since both audio and data are digital, a simple twisted-pair Cat.5 cable connects the microphone units to the CSE.
Just one line is necessary: the microphone units are provided with LINE IN – LINE OUT connectors for a daisy-chain connection. The unit includes a gooseneck electret microphone with “on-air” light, flat keypad for call type selection, backlit LCD to display operations in progress, double RJ12 bus socket for LINE IN-LINE OUT connection, internal micro switch for code configuration and socket for wall power adapter (supplied).
Available in aluminium body, ABS sides and built-in feet. Grey/black Colour.
