Processor used to reduce noise in sound systems when the speaker sound is fed back to the amplification system through a microphone (Larsen effect). Especially suitable for churches, conference rooms and auditoriums. The operating principle is based on frequency shift between the incoming and outgoing signal, to avoid triggering the Larsen effect. Connection is made from the Send output to the Return input of a mixer/amplifier or from the Pre output of a mixer to the input of the power unit.
Housed in coated metal box and provided with controls for: frequency shift adjustment within the 2- 20 Hz range; up/ down shift selection; output level adjustment; activation/ deactivation of the suppression effect. It can be rack mounted. Size: 1 r.u.
